A little more of everything

The Toronto Daily Star’s editorial page contained a daily feature called A Little Of Everything that included, as the name implies, a little of everything. Here are two excerpts from the March 14 1935 edition of the paper.

First, a piece called Sentence Sermons:

I suppose that borrowing trouble is better than buying it, as you can always return it. That might be taking this metaphor too far.

The other excerpt that caught my attention was this:

Little William is remarkably articulate for a five-year-old.
