The photo section of the March 11 1930 edition of the Toronto Daily Star included this photograph of a princess who wanted to have a career in photography.
Princess Caroline-Mathilde of Denmark (1912-1995) went on to marry her first cousin, Prince Knud of Denmark. Her Wikipedia page makes no mention of photography, alas.
The Prince, brother of the King of Denmark, was the heir to the throne until a change in the Danish constitution enabled the King’s daughter to become monarch. This daughter, Margrethe II, is still the Queen of Denmark today.
