Knighthood for Charlie Chaplin

Here’s a short poem from the March 5 1931 edition of the Toronto Daily Star:

Mr. Phillips had no need to worry, at least not for a while – Charlie Chaplin was not entitled to call himself Sir Charles until 1975, two years before his death, when he was named a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
